Wyatt was diagnosed with brain cancer at the young age of 7.  Although fear was in the air his first reaction was to make a joke and let his parents have a laugh.  He lived his life this way every day.  Others are what mattered.  If a kid was lonely he would invite them to play.  If some one was having a bad day he was there to help.  As his classmates showed his family after his passing he was everyone's friend and each had a story of how he made their life better.  Wyatt Halverson Hugs was created in his memory to continue to share the heart that he had, and the Hugs that he gave everyone.  We are providing Hugs (support) to families that are dealing with serious childhood illness.  We know first hand how one day everything changes, the path is unclear and finances are stretched.  Although we are small we are here to help as many as we can in our community with financial aid during the battle with serious childhood illness.  Wyatt Halverson Hugs is a 501c3 nonprofit.
